AW Simmonds

AW Simmonds is a composer and songwriter from Lancashire, England. He began composing seriously for piano around 2019. His piano compositions demonstrate a wide range of influences, classical and contemporary. They include Chopin, Maxwell-Davies and Scott Joplin. The Beatles, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan have impacted upon his song-writing which varies in style from reflective ballads to more upbeat classic rock songs.

AW Simmonds has just completed composing and recording an album of original piano compositions titled One for Sorrow, One for Joy, available to download on all streaming platforms or purchase on CD.
